  • What is Body Shred?

    Body Shred is a fitness challenge created by guitarist and fitness enthusiast Nita Strauss. Aimed at bringing the music and fitness communities together, the challenge incorporates nutrition and workout components as well as creating a community for support and accountability.

  • How long is the challenge?

    Absolutely! We had participants in Body Shred 1 from all over the world. The Trifecta food can’t ship overseas, but you are eligible for all the other prizes.

  • What do I do to participate?

  • What do I do to participate?

    We’ll give you a ton of tools to use in your fitness journey. There is a workout provided for all challenge participants, as well as some healthy recipes at the end of the Body Shred e-book.

    However- it is NOT mandatory to follow our program exactly to participate! We realize that everyone’s fitness journey is different, and different fitness methods work for different people.

    We also provide discount codes from our sponsors like DDP Yoga, RP Strength, Trifecta Nutrition, Misfit Wearables and more to help you stay on track in your own way.

  • Do I have to follow a specific diet?

    Everyone who signs up for the Elite level will get a personalized diet plan from the experts at RP Strength. These are the nutritionists who keep me in shape on and off tour, as well as USA Olympians and other elite athletes. If you get an RP plan, we recommend you follow it closely to get the best results!

    For all other participants, there will be meal and recipe suggestions as well as some healthy eating guidelines in the e-book, but your meal plan will be up to you!

  • How is the winner determined?

    Participants are asked to send in a starting photo at the beginning of the challenge, along with a short paragraph about what they hope to get out of the challenge.

    We encourage taking measurements and using the scale as a tool throughout the process, but it is NOT mandatory!

    At the end of the 3 months, participants send in a second set of photos showing their progress, along with a paragraph about their experience in the challenge and anything they would like to share.
